• Keep your trash in covered containers.
• Move bird feeders to at least 20 feet from your home.

Pigeons

An adult pigeon is around 11 inches long and weighs about 13 ounces. Pigeon coloration can vary but they are most commonly gray with a whitish gray rump. • Seal openings that pigeons can use to gain entrance to your home.

• Refrain from feeding the pigeons.

Canada Geese

• Don't feed the birds. Get everyone on board. This is a group effort.

• There are devices that can be installed around your water source that scare these birds off. They may act as a visual deterrent or create a scary sound when activated. This method is called hazing.
• If you have a dog that can run around in the area, this can spook these birds away and make them think twice about coming back. Some breeds are better at this than others. Choose your dog wisely.
